As dedicated “Surajers”, we’ve decided to create a
birthday video especially for Suraj Sharma, as he turns 20 today – the 21st
of March.
Fans from Asia to South America participated in the project
called #OurSubwaySandwichForSuraj, greeting him in their respective
languages.
The idea was brought forth by Selene Avalos, an Argentine
fan and creator of Suraj Sharma Online.
Over the past few days, we became really good online
friends, so I decided to help her in making the video, as she was working on
the project alone. She compiled the submitted entries, while I created the
intro and a part of the conclusion. I can’t take much credit, for it was really
Selene who was on top of this collective work.
It was actually kind of funny working on the video, cos we
live really far from each other, have different time zones (It was night time
in the Philippines, while early morning in Argentina when we worked on it. And
then, we had to continue the next day, when it’s morning in the Philippines and
night time in Argentina! Crazy, right?), and the only way we were able to
communicate and send files to each other was through chatting on Facebook and
file-sharing via Mediafire!
Nevertheless, we managed to finish it in time, and we’re so
glad that our fellow Surajers love the output!
So, to all the fans out there who contributed to
#OurSubwaySandwichForSuraj, we would like to extend our BIG THANKS for making
this project possible!
