My first pic with braces

OK, the thing is, I didn't get to make the Brace Mix. Yes. I didn't get to make it, cos this morning,
my dentist called my mum, and told her that my braces would be installed today. As I'm typing this post, I already have my braces. My HIDEOUS braces.

I look hideous! I FEEL hideous! I really do! And I seem to find it difficult to smile. It doesn't hurt (not yet), but when I smile, it's different. I look different. My self esteem has gotten even lower. I've got a horrible lot of frizzy hair. My skin's horrible. And I've got braces! Oh, God.
