Bonnie Wright in Her Directorial Debut: Separate We Come, Separate We Go

While most of the 'Potter' actors are busy promoting their latest movies and considering new projects, Bonnie Wright, who played the role of Ginny Weasley in all the Harry Potter films, is making her directorial debut with her upcoming film "Separate We Come, Separate We Go", which stars fellow 'Potter' actor David Thewlis, who portrayed Remus Lupin.

Separate We Come, Separate We Go is a story of a 10-year old girl who lives with her single mother in a bleak town called Lydd, East Sussex. After another of her mother's episodes, she decides to walk to the coast near her home. We follow this journey to Dungeness, where she meets an eccentric man. He becomes the friend she never had; they talk about life and spontaneity.

The film portrays the poignant story of a child's loss of innocence and how she retrieves it through the beauty of her surrounding landscape and the kindness of a stranger.

The film will be part of the London College of Communication Graduate Film project and will be presented in 2012 in the graduate show.

My Thoughts:

OH, MY GOD! I've always believed in Bonnie Wright, and seeing her grow into this is just...WOW! The plot does sound great, and it's set in East Sussex! My home for quite a while! The place where I spent the best summer days of my childhood! The movie's not set in Brighton, but still! I HAVE TO SEE THIS FILM NO MATTER WHAT!

Singapore Last Few Days (31 December, 1, 2, 3 January): New Year, Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Orchard Road Shopping

Today is all about packing up, and I'm worrying a lot about how will I make my stuff fit in a regular-sized duffel and trolley. I haven't even packed my other shirts, two pairs of trousers, and slippers yet! Having said that, I still can't believe that we're about to go home. It seems just like yesterday when we landed here in Singapore, and by tomorrow, we're leaving! I just love it so much here that saying goodbye is quite difficult to do.

Now, before I get too dramatic here, let me tell you about the last few places I visited here in Singapore during this visit. And, oh, I don't have much time to add the photos, so, just check em out later - maybe, when I'm back in Manila.

31 December - New Year's Eve
Accompanied my cuz to the sports complex here in Choa Chu Kang. He swam. I didn't. I was just so in the mood of reading The Son of Neptune while eating Nutella sandwiches. Oh, yeah! Going home, we got lost... well, kinda. We just laughed off  our stupidity after.

We had pizza at home for our New Year's eve meal. Just read my previous post for my 2012 details. Sweet!

1 January
We went to Chinatown. I loved the place, but not the scent and that toilet bowl that flushes every after few seconds. I found it really terrifying with all the water splashing.

We shopped for very affordable souvenirs. 6 keychains for $2 - that's a friggin' steal! In the mall, 3 cost a bloody $10! What a difference! Then  for lunch, we ate this claypot chicken dish with really weird rice, which I mistook as maggots (thank God they weren't!). It's conventionally delicious, I must say.

Throughout the day, though, I felt really nauseous and sick, plus this Chinese dude coughed right in front of me, spraying virus all over my face. If there's one place where my OCD and Hypochondria would be put into a test, it would be Chinatown.

But despite these negative things I've said, I REALLY DO LOVE THE PLACE. I think it just needs to be cleaner and they have to work on their toilets...

2 January
Off to Orchard and City Hall - just two of my favourite places in Singapore. We did some last-minute shopping. I got a new book by Cecelia Ahern, which I've never seen before at MPH Bookstore, a Harry Potter soundtrack from That CD Shop, a Keep Calm and Carry On poster from City Luxe, and a Tinkerbell sweatshirt from Forever 21. And finally, I saw the largest Hershey's chocolate bar in the world!

3 January - Today
School starts again today in UST, which means I missed it, and I've got a lot of catching up to do.

I got a load of pens from Smiggle, and that's where I threw my last few dollars. I still have to see how we spend the night, so LATERZ!
